this period there have been 16 teams involved including Georgia Tech and
Tulane that are no longer in the SEC, and Arkansas, Texas A&M, and Missouri
that are relatively new to the SEC. Eleven teams have won or shared SEC
championships including Alabama (30), Georgia (14), Tennessee (13), LSU
(12), Florida (8), Auburn (7), Ole Miss (6), Georgia Tech (4), Kentucky (2),
Tulane (2), and Mississippi State (1). The teams with no SEC championships
include: Arkansas, Missouri, South Carolina, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt.
